Recording guide

Record game audio without Discord.

Table Snap can work with audio you capture elsewhere. These starter recommendations help without turning game night into a sound-engineering project.

01

Capture the whole table

Place a recorder or microphone where every player can be heard, keep it clear of dice trays, and make a short test recording before play.

02

Check before the session

Listen for quiet players, room echo, background music, and table bumps. A clean, consistent recording beats a complicated setup.

03

Bring the file to Table Snap

Save the completed session in a supported audio format, then upload it from your Table Snap workspace when you are ready.

Guide status: this is a starting framework. Tested recorder, microphone, virtual-table, file-format, and room-layout examples can be added next.
